The Lakeshore Community Chorus spring concert, “250: An American Quilt of Song,” promises to be a rich celebration of our country. Directed by Adam Wurst. Accompanied by Caitlin Cusack.
New Artistic Director, Adam Wurst shares, “I am excited about our concert theme because it reaches across our country’s history and shares the stories of our quilted tapestry. America is at its finest when we pause to celebrate what unites us, in both the American Spirit and our diversity. The Chorus’ songs bring swatches of adventure, heartbreak, celebration, and nostalgia to make up this quilt. There are songs for every age and style of music!”
“My hope for the audience is that they will experience both the hope and healing through the music of America’s story. When families attend our performances, it would be incredible to hear how they connect with each other through the songs that move each family member differently! The Chorus offers an uplifting opportunity to reflect and sing along while sharing each song’s story with the next generation.”
